Designed as a playful retreat just steps from the main cottage, the structure mirrors its counterpart with matching board-and-batten siding and colour, creating a seamless connection between the two. Inside, the palette takes its cue from the iconic Hudson’s Bay blanket — cheerful, nostalgic, and full of personality. A preserved birch trunk stands at the entry, serving as a coat rack and a gentle reminder of the surrounding forest. The antique cast-iron bed painted in a joyful hue & the vintage posters anchor the space with character and charm, while lake views bring a sense of calm and connection to nature. The result is a whimsical hideaway that celebrates nature and the magic of cottage living.
